Most people want to make sure their money keeps working for them. Keeping your money in profitable investments is a good idea. However, as important as it is to keep your money growing, you need to make sure that you have some cash on hand.
There are a number of advantages to holding cash:
Discounts for cash purchases. You can receive many discounts for holding cash on hand. Some gas
- Get on a family plan. You can even get on a group plan with your friends. Instead of everyone paying $50 a month, join a plan where the first phone is $50 and every additional line is $10. Then you can just split the bill at $20 each, with the extra money going to the one who’s information/credit is being used.
- If you don’t use your cell phone
- Make your reservations at home, online. This way you can compare prices and take your time. Look for coupons online. At checkout, there’s a box where you can add a code and see your discount before completing your order.
- Don’t get insurance. You might already be covered with your credit card or with your own car insurance. Double check this though to make sure.
