- Financial Services. During a recession, people look for help, whether it be for debt help, foreclosure help or bankruptcy help.
- Law Enforcement. It’s a proven fact that during recessions, crimes go up and thus the demand for more police officers increase.
- Health Care. This goes for more than just doctors and nurses. This goes for everyone who works in a hospital, from security guards to janitors to customer service reps.
- Teachers. Teaching jobs will always be in demand. This applies to teachers aides as well.

Currently though teachers are losing their jobs like crazy.
Hospital jobs are always in demand and with baby boomers getting into their 60′s their need will only become more evident in the coming years.
